WRITING SAMPLES
The example press release was written during the Fall 2019 semester for the course Public Relations Writing. This was an exercise with the objective of informing media specialists about a fictional event set to take place. Using knowledge of the public relations writing process and AP Style, I learned how to concisely and coherently express information in a non-biased, yet appealing, manner.
For the Ben & Jerry's case study document, I attached all of the pages that I was responsible for. This assignment was completed during the fall semester of 2020, and the case study explored how Ben & Jerry's public relations efforts have contributed to the strength of the entire company. I designed the template for the case study in Canva and utilized this project as an opportunity to speak about some of the best practices that can be gleaned from the company's efforts.
The nonprofit campaign book was completed during the Fall 2019 semester, as well. I worked on a team with four other students to create a social media plan for Second Chance Animal Sanctuary of Norman. For this project, I contributed to the following: the social media audit, primary research, personas, positioning/objectives, the crisis plan and social media policy, and the social media content calendar. The campaign book was created in Canva, and the entire process tested my knowledge of the research, planning, implementation and evaluation processes.
SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING
These social media posts were created during my internship with the Oklahoma Visual Art Coalition (OVAC) during the Fall 2020 semester. The objective of each post was to inform OVAC's current followers of the organization's core values and mission statement while also encouraging them to maintain interest in the Oklahoma arts scene. For these posts, I utilized Canva as a design tool and Hootsuite to schedule each of them.
GRAPHIC DESIGN
The following Bob Marley artist book was created using Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. This book, which was created for my creative internship with Lindsey + Asp (Fall 2019), was intended to test my knowledge of design and overall creativity. Through this project, I learned that simple is oftentimes better and that the difference lies in the details.

Below are the creative movie posters that were completed during my time as a creative intern with Lindsey + Asp. These three posters were my first "shot" at Adobe InDesign and Illustrator, further enabling me to become familiar with the programs. The objective behind this work was to create a minimal poster that would still be easy to identify. This project introduced me to the intense thought that goes into creating something from scratch and why the planning process is important prior to starting a project.
(The Kill Bill poster is definitely my favorite)

VIDEO EDITING
The following is a video that I put together to document my month-long study abroad adventure in France during the Summer of 2019. I filmed daily with my phone and edited the final clips with iMovie. Originally created for my friends and family to see France through my eyes, this self-assigned project taught me how to connect with others through a camera and how to make a connection where there previously was none.
