For this business card assignment, I was asked to design a business card for my nonprofit of choice, Second Chance Animal Sanctuary Norman. The business card should present information in a way that's legible and interesting. Additionally, the ideal image is simple since business cards are on the smaller side.
This assignment excited me, but it also required me to think extensively about what I’d like to create. I want the business card to be unique without compromising any of the information. As of right now, I'm not in love with my current design. I wanted to hold off adding more information until I figure out what I'm doing with the layout and logo.
I believe that I'm having this reaction to my currently unfinished design because I know that I can do more. With all of the options offered through both InDesign and Illustrator, there's an innumerable amount of concepts for me to bring to life. I just need to make more time to decide on a final style for me to pursue. Once I've done that, I believe the finished product will be memorable.
